From now to 30 November 2020 you can submit your images to the prestigious Ocean Art competition. Prizes worth $40,000 are on offer to amateur and professional photographers.
There will be over 50 winning photos in 12 categories including wide angle, marine life behaviour, macro, compact, cold water, blackwater, conservation and nudibranchs.
Winners can rank the prizes in order of preference so they are more likely to get the prize they want. These include liveaboard trips, underwater photography gear and diving holidays in Raja Ampat, Komodo, Solomon Islands, Bunaken, Fiji and the Philippines.
Judges include renowned underwater photographers Tony Wu, Martin Edge, Marty Snyderman and Scott Gietler. Martin Edge is the author of The Underwater Photographer, a best-selling book on underwater photography. Marty Snyderman is an Emmy winner with work appearing in top publications like National Geographic. Tony Wu is a renowned underwater photographer and author of Silent Symphony. Scott Gietler is the owner of Bluewater Photo, Bluewater Travel and the Underwater Photography Guide.
