Previously out-of-bound diving destinations, such as Egypt, Oman, the Maldives and Turkey, will be removed from the UK’s Red List on 22 September. People arriving from these countries will no longer have to quarantine in a hotel for 11 nights

Plus, fully vaccinated divers will soon not need a negative lateral flow or PCR test on their arrival into England.

The changes are staggered through September and October.

For unvaccinated travellers though, rules are to be toughened, with predeparture tests, two PCR tests after entering England and up to 10 days self-isolation required from all countries.

There are some great deals on liveaboards at the moment in the countries released from the list, with up to 40% off. Prices will rise as bookings fill up.
